2026 City Council Candidate Forum
We had a very successful candidate forum Sept. 30 with 66 people in attendance (not counting the candidates who also dutifully signed in…) and another 20+ participating via Zoom.
Thank you to everyone who came; it was a very good showing of our five South Central neighborhoods’ civic engagement, and the candidates were impressed - they said so more than once.
Specifically, I would like to thank: Jordan Humphreys for serving as a co-moderator, Ronnie Dittmar and Will Stewart for technical assistance, Melissa Takamatsu for last-minute signage support, Harry Cabluck for taking photos, Gardner Selby for excellent notes (Can be found on the Boudlin Creek Forum - search for Candidate forum) and everyone who helped set-up and put the room back together afterwards.
Here is a link to the Zoom recording for those of you who missed it:
The beginning is a bit truncated, with the first few candidates' introductions missing, but everything else was captured.
Thank you all!
Ingrid Weigand (big thanks to Ingrid for being the BCNA rep spearheading this event)
