Gibson & 3rd Yard Concert
The final evening of music for the spring season at Gibson & 3rd Yard Concert was on Sunday, June 21st, featuring Exile Trio with Marco Gutierrez, Daniel Davis and Colin Gilmore. The trio is 3/5ths of West Texas Exiles, who play every Monday at Saxon Pub's happy hour. We had a good turnout in spite of the heat, humidity and Father's Day, and the musicians did not disappoint. The music was soulful, their stories entertaining, and their harmonies spot on. Not many of us were familiar with Exile Trio, or West Texas Exile, but we all fell in love with them by the end of this magical evening. We will definitely want to have them back on our stage.

Blue Sector Block Party
What a perfect afternoon we had for our Bouldin Blue Sector Block Party on Saturday May 2nd! Thank you to everyone for joining in the fun and bringing food, drinks, chairs & shade! A big shout out to Haley for being our homebase lawn, Summer for setting up festival worthy flags and Nomade & Dovetail for your donations. Over 100 neighbors stopped by (many with their pups) to mix & mingle, enjoy DJ Lora’s beats & Pia’s surprise violin performance and play frisbee & cornhole. Kids splashed in the water stations, threw around a football, painted mother day cards at the craft station and scooted/cruised down our makeshift bike lane. And of course you know it’s been a fun event when it’s capped off with a water jug being dumped out to make an impromptu waterslide!

Gibson & 3rd Yard Concert
About 100 people attended the April 19 Tish Hinojosa concert hosted by Linda & Joe Overton at their home on Gibson. Tish performed songs from many of her albums and was joined on a few by her band-mate Chip Dunn. The Overtons worked with many neighbor volunteers to host this concert, which included a pot-luck dinner.
Halloween 2025 - S 3rd St
We have a very active and fun Halloween vibe in our hood! The area on S. 3rd St between Milton and Jewell is especially fun.
