Weekend 2: Sat & Sun, November 15–16
Hours: 12–6 pm daily
Austin’s favorite celebration of local art is back, and this year it’s bigger than ever. The 23rd Annual Austin Studio Tour is a free, citywide self-guided tour of art that invites everyone to explore hundreds of art spaces, studios, galleries, and special events across Austin.
For the first time, the entire city will be activated for both weekends with no east/west split. This change gives attendees two full weekends to wander from neighborhood to neighborhood, visiting as many stops as they like.
New in 2025, the tour is now produced by Almost Real Things, a local arts organization known for creating playful, interactive events. They’re bringing fresh energy and expanded resources to this beloved Austin tradition. Expect to see everything from painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed-media installations to live mural painting, interactive art-making activities, and hands-on workshops for kids. Many stops will feature artist talks, live music, and opportunities to purchase work directly from the artists.
Part of what makes the Studio Tour special is the personal connection. Visitors get to peek inside working studios, see works in progress, and talk to the artists themselves about inspiration and process. It’s a rare chance to experience art outside of a gallery setting and experience the creativity that fuels Austin.
Whether you’re looking for family-friendly activities, a chance to collect local art, or simply a fun way to explore Austin, the Studio Tour is the perfect way to spend a fall weekend. Grab a map, plan a route with friends, and set out to discover hidden art spaces, colorful pop-ups, and inspiring creative corners across the city. This year, the whole city is your canvas.
