The mid-May Art04 Studio Tour was a beautiful reminder of what makes the 78704 community so special. Across the neighborhood, more than 50 artists opened their studios and creative spaces to the public, welcoming neighbors and visitors into homes, workshops, galleries, and gardens filled with art, conversation, and inspiration.

Throughout the weekend, guests explored painting, ceramics, photography, sculpture, metalwork, jewelry, textiles, and mixed media while meeting the artists behind the work. The tour created a rare opportunity to step inside the creative process itself, seeing not only finished pieces, but also the spaces, tools, and stories that shape them.

The energy across the neighborhood was vibrant and deeply connected. Neighbors walked from studio to studio, artists collaborated and supported one another, and visitors experienced firsthand the creative spirit that continues to define Bouldin Creek and the greater 78704 area.

A special thank you to all the participating artists, volunteers, hosts, sponsors, and community members who helped make this year’s tour such a success. Events like Art04 strengthen not only our local arts economy, but also the relationships and sense of place that make this neighborhood feel like home.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who came out to support local artists and celebrate creativity in our community. We’re already looking forward to next year’s tour.
