Meet WIll Stewart
2025 Vice President of External Affairs
Bouldin Creek Neighborhood Association
I joined BCNA out of a sense of kinship with my neighbors and the environment. Ten years ago, my long-time neighbor recruited me to deliver the Bouldin Bulletin in our complex when he could no longer climb the stairs.
That was the first time I paid attention to BCNA as an organization. I also befriended the Brown Sector representative through dog walks. Once she learned that I was cleaning trash out of Bouldin Creek on my own time, she recruited me to attend GA meetings, and I soon became a paying member. Drinks at the High Road didn’t hurt, either! From taking votes on important matters facing our neighborhood to cleaning the creek on early weekend mornings with others, I felt a sense of connection that I hadn’t had in many years. It was then a natural evolution that I ultimately became the Brown Sector rep and now a Vice President.
I aim to give back by embracing newcomers to BCNA, just as I was embraced by those who came before me. This January, I will be celebrating 20 years as a Bouldin resident, and I have never felt more at home.
