Check out the new "No Parking" signs on Eva at Annie Street. After working with city staff for about a month, this well-traversed intersection now has the all-important "line-of-sight" restored for Eva Street drivers, bicyclist and pedestrians trying to cross Annie at the Eva intersection. Long a favorite parking spot for South Congress patrons, the sheer visual obstruction of parked cars made it almost impossible for those traveling north and south on Eva to see if it was safe to cross the intersection. A big thank you goes to the Transportation Department at Public Works and Richard Kroger, Supervising Engineer for South Austin, for their speedy implementation of the signs.
