Auditorium Shores Events CalendarAuditorium Shores Events CalendarAfter many years of conflict between promoters, neighbors and Austin park-goers, BCNA reached an agreement with City of Austin and Parks and Recreation (PARD) officials on a system to limit the annual number of days events would occupy Auditorium Shores. The limitation allows the grounds adequate time to recover and retain their green, park-like character, it allows broad park access by Austinites who simply want to enjoy the quiet open space of their parks, and it keeps at tolerable levels the frequency of noise, added traffic, on-street parking, and debris in residential yards and streets that often accompanies these events within the Bouldin Creek neighborhood.
The number of event days is limited to a maximum of 26 per year. Past event promoters may rentain their event day(s) reservations until they relinquish them, at which time, the next promotional event on a waiting list may opt to reserve an event date on the shores.
